The GLT LED TUBE is certified according to international standards and meets the highest requirements for energy efficiency and service life. Verified sustainability through EPD
Sustainability must be measurable. That is why the GLT LED TUBE has been comprehensively assessed and verified with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804. This independent product declaration provides detailed transparency on environmental impacts across the entire life cycle – from raw materials and production to recycling.

Circular Lighting: take-back, repair, and recycling
We take a holistic approach to sustainability. With our Circular Lighting concept, we conserve valuable resources. The GLT LED TUBE achieves a repair and recycling rate of over 90%. At the end of its service life, we take back the luminaires and provide a refund of EUR 5 per returned GLT LED TUBE when purchasing a new GLT LED TUBE.

The life cycle assessment of the GLT TUBE convinces EnBW
A study completed in May 2022 by the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP on behalf of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG examined the advantages of the GLT LED TUBE, using the GLT TUBE 150 as an example, in the EF3.0 Climate Change impact category compared with comparable competitor products.
The objective of the study was to develop the life cycle assessment of the GLT LED TUBE in order to integrate it into EnBW Baden-Württemberg AG’s overall economic evaluations and implementation concepts. Compared to fluorescent tubes, the GLT LED TUBE shows an advantage after just 15 days; compared to other LED tubes, after 101 days.
