GLT Rent AG buys Proston AB

GLT Rent AG, the partner for professional lighting and manufacturer of sustainable and high-quality LED lamps from Meilen near Zurich, buys its previous agency in Scandinavia, Proston AB, based in Västeras, Sweden. With the takeover, the company name changes to GLT Nordic AB. The previous owner of Proston AB, Fredrik Olson, becomes managing director of GLT Nordic AB. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sales price. 

The two companies have enjoyed a successful partnership for years. The recently concluded lease agreements between GLT Rent AG and Scandinavian customers and the very strong increase in sales made the takeover a logical step, because the synergies that have now been released create capacities for even faster growth. As a result of the corona pandemic, more and more sensible investments are being made in the B2B area to increase efficiency and save costs. 

The importance of environmentally friendly, recyclable and economical lighting technologies is growing rapidly. "We are sure that we can move on even faster under the same roof and that we are getting closer to our goal of providing healthy and sustainable light for all professional customers in Scandinavia," says Fredrik Olson.
